Now, we’re thrilled to announce the three-day conference’s special guest lineup, featuring names you know from television, music, movies, books, and more.
There’s no shortage of renowned guests gracing this year’s virtual stage, and each will ignite your passion and inspire your learning over the course of the conference, whether you’re a budding creator or a seasoned professional.
Before we share the full list, how well do you know these headliners?
Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, known for her work in “Shakespeare in Love,” “Proof,” “Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums,” “Glee,” and much more, is also a decorated author, singer, and entrepreneur. She has authored three New York Times best-selling cookbooks, and also founded goop, a lifestyle brand devoted to making every choice count, where food, shopping, and mindfulness collide. After serving as goop’s chief creative officer, she assumed the CEO mantle in 2016, and also helped facilitate the #metoo movement.
A BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Academy Award nominated performer, Naomie Harris is one of the most sought-after actors of her generation with a chameleon-like ability to immerse herself in a variety of roles, from the largest blockbusters to the most intimate independent films. She can currently be seen in the Sky/HBO limited series “The Third Day,” and will also be reprising her role as Eve Moneypenny for Cary Fukunaga’s “Bond 25.” You may also know her tour de force performance as a crack-addicted mother in the award-winning “Moonlight” or Winnie Mandela in “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,” among a long list of on-screen appearances.
Regarded as one of the most successful figures in entertainment today, Chelsea Handler has attracted millions of fans worldwide with her talk shows “Chelsea Lately” and “Chelsea,” Netflix documentary series, “Chelsea Does,” best-selling books, including her most recent sixth book and first memoir “Life Will Be the Death of Me,” and stand-up comedy. Lately, she has been focused on her work as an activist, joining forces with EMILY’s List to help elect more women to public office, register people to vote, and campaign for candidates who are fighting for women’s rights, and partnered with the Karam Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to build a better future for Syria.
Academy Award, Golden Globe, Emmy, and Grammy-winning artist, actor, and activist, Common is renowned for his roles in films such as “Selma,” “Barbershop,” and “John Wick 2,” his lasting influence on hip-hop culture, and his recurring role in the Showtime series he and Lena Waithe executive produce, “The Chi.” Common has also been deeply engaged in social justice and advocacy work around mass incarceration, mental health, and voting. He established Imagine Justice as a nonprofit, dedicated to leveraging the power of art to advocate for communities around the country, to fight for justice and equality, and to stand united against injustice wherever it appears.
Acclaimed filmmaker Wes Anderson is known for his long list of beloved films including “Bottle Rocket,” “Rushmore,” “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,” “The Darjeeling Limited,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” “Moonrise Kingdom,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Isle of Dogs,” and his latest film “The French Dispatch.”
Taika Waititi is an Academy Award-winning writer, director, and actor. His latest film “Jojo Rabbit” received six Oscar nominations including best picture, a Golden Globe nomination, and earned him an Oscar for best adapted screenplay. Previous credits include “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Hunt for Wilderpeople,” and Oscar-nominated short film “Two Cars, One Night.” He also directed the season one finale of “The Mandalorian” on Disney+, in which he also stars, is in post-production on “Next Goal Wins,” and will next direct and write “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
