Adobe FedRAMP solutions accelerate digital document transformation
Adobe Sign is officially “In Process” in the FedRAMP Marketplace at the Moderate level
2020 was a year of unprecedented change. As offices closed and employees began working from home, government agencies were faced with unexpected and often daunting challenges. With 76 percent still using a mix of paper and digital processes — critical services were interrupted and delayed. Today, government leaders are prioritizing the urgent need for digital document and signature transformation to enhance both citizen and employee experiences.
Adobe FedRAMP Tailored Authorized solutions like Adobe Sign and Adobe Document Cloud PDF services are enabling agencies to address these urgent requirements. All while keeping compliance, security, and fraud prevention top of mind.
FedRAMP Moderate: Enhancing trust in document processes
Today, we’re pleased to announce that Adobe Sign is officially “In Process” in the FedRAMP Marketplace at the Moderate level. Agencies who want to extend e-signatures to sensitive processes that include the collection of more personal information, can now confidently plan on working with Adobe Sign to meet those requirements. The new Adobe Sign product will be hosted on Microsoft Azure Government Cloud — the trusted, security-enhanced cloud for government agencies. We are also partnering with Accenture’s Engineering and Product Operations team to apply industry-leading practices and accelerate time to market.
“Scalable cloud platforms like Adobe Sign enabled the federal government to move very quickly, allowing us to do things in days and hours, instead of weeks, months, and years,” says Suzette Kent, former U.S. chief information officer.
Delivering end-to-end solutions with industry leaders
Adobe is proud to join our partners, Microsoft, and Accenture, to deliver a broad range of pre- integrated solutions to help governments transform digital document processes.
We’re continuing to expand our strategic partnership with Microsoft. By bringing the power of Adobe Document Cloud, Creative Cloud, and Experience Cloud to the applications you use every day, we enable a modern digital experience that is easy to learn and unmatched by any other ecosystem. New and improved integrations for Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Dynamics 365, and Power Automate will help agencies innovate quickly by extending the capabilities of existing applications. Adobe Sign is Microsoft’s preferred e-signature solution.
We’re partnering with Accenture to fully integrate critical digital document workflows into video- enabled justice solutions for courts and police departments across the country. We will enable teams to manage virtual citizen visits and courtroom experiences through video, chat, document sharing, and signing experiences that include Adobe Sign and Adobe Experience Manager.
Empowering agencies through continuous PDF innovation
Since Adobe invented PDF almost 30 years ago, we’ve continuously reinvented digital document and online experiences — including the first use of digital signature technology with PDFs over 21 years ago. Adobe continues to deliver new innovations for today’s mobile-first, data-driven world with AI-driven technology like Liquid Mode. With it, agencies can deliver exceptional PDF consumption experiences on small screens without the need to reauthor documents, improve accessibility for people with disabilities, and help agencies enhance PDFs with metadata for better searchability.
“The pace of change for everything from virtual public meetings, to online applications, to case management, to support call centers depends on digital document services that are secure and trusted. Government relies on partners to ensure the services they provide meets those needs.” said Teri Takai, former CIO of California, Michigan, and the Department of Defense.
