Adobe wins Advanced Imaging Society’s prestigious Century Award
Every year, the Advanced Imaging Society hosts the Lumiere™ Awards to honor outstanding achievements in immersive storytelling using advanced visual technologies. The Society recognizes creative professionals and organizations revolutionizing the entertainment industry through boundary-pushing technologies including AR, VR, artificial intelligence (AI), high dynamic range, and more. Today, we’re incredibly proud to announce that Adobe received the 2023 Century Award, which recognizes companies that play a revolutionary role in innovating filmmaking technology.
The combination of Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop with seamless cloud collaboration in Frame.io makes editing more efficient so artists can spend more time being creative. From Everything Everywhere All at Once and Top Gun: Maverick to Atlanta, Devotion, Missing, The Bear, and countless others, Adobe tools have helped power many of the year’s most exciting films and TV shows.
Sriram Iyer, Head of Strategy, Product and Partnerships, and Meagan Keane, Director, Product Marketing, Professional Video, accepted the honor on Adobe’s behalf at the 13th annual Lumiere™ Awards ceremony, held in Los Angeles on February 10, 2023.

We are grateful to the many filmmakers who have relied on Adobe to bring their projects to life and honored to be recognized by the Advanced Imaging Society for our work.”
At Adobe, we’re dedicated to developing new innovations that unlock creative possibilities and address the entertainment industry’s future needs. Ground-breaking technology, including Camera to Cloud, is fundamentally changing the way films are made by driving the industry towards a completely cloud-based future, while Adobe Sensei AI-powered features democratize filmmaking by making the craft more accessible to artists of all skill levels.
“As we look toward the future, we envision a world where everyone with a story to tell has the tools and the platform to tell it,” said Iyer. “We’ll continue to develop new ways to make storytelling as seamless, collaborative, and efficient as possible. Advancements in cloud, AI and machine learning technology are just the beginning, paving the way for further innovations that will revolutionize filmmaking.”
To all the filmmakers who have chosen Adobe products to bring your stories to the big screen: Thank you – we truly appreciate you. And to the Advanced Imaging Society awards committee, please accept our deepest gratitude for this incredible honor.
