Adobe Brings Creative Problem Solving to the “City of Brotherly Love” for ISTE 2019

The workplace of the future is changing rapidly — students today are preparing for jobs that don’t yet exist, in industries that are just getting started. To succeed in an uncertain workplace, students need to develop essential soft skills including creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

Every summer, ISTE brings together the most creative and passionate educators, district leaders, and administrators from across the globe to talk about how to make education more meaningful for students and prepare them for their personal and professional future. Adobe is so excited to join this group of passionate people in Philadelphia this year to bring creative problem-solving to the forefront through the Adobe Theater on the ISTE show floor, and a variety of speaking engagements and networking events.

This year in the Adobe Theater (Booth 1900), Adobe Education Leaders will share how they bring presentations, illustrations, photography, video and audio, and web and app design projects to life with Creative Cloud across their curriculum. They will be showcasing innovative ways to use Adobe Spark and Premiere Rush, among other Creative Cloud tools, to inspire students and transform classrooms. This year, we’re also thrilled to partner with Google to showcase how using Adobe and Google tools together delivers the best classroom experience. For instance, educators can find Adobe Spark on the new Chromebook App Hub. “We’re thrilled to have Adobe as a Google for Education Technology Premier Partner and a launch partner for the Chromebook App Hub,” said Karen Greenleaf, senior program manager of Chrome OS. “Adobe Spark enables students to creatively explain and share their knowledge with others, and, by being a part of the App Hub, more educators will get inspiration for how to use Adobe Spark in the classroom in a way that also meets the needs of school administrators.” By using Adobe and Google together, teachers and students can get started quickly with new apps and features designed for creators of all levels. At ISTE, Adobe Education Leaders will present at the Google Theater and Google Booth on how to bring creativity to life with Adobe Spark.

Adobe also has some exciting updates from the Creative Cloud apps to share at ISTE. Adobe Spark now offers Project Sharing, enabling students and teachers to collaborate on creative assignments online on a laptop or desktop device.

Adobe’s newest application, Premiere Rush, enables students to easily create professional-looking videos with titles, transitions, and effects. Rush is now available on Android phones, as well as desktops, laptops, and iOS devices.
